What Are The Corrugated Plastic Sheet 3mm?
If you look at the real estate sign industry, you will notice something interesting: most corrugated plastic yard signs are 3mm, not 2mm and not 4mm. Why? Because 2mm corrugtaed plastic signs bend in the wind – they look cheap and unprofessional. 4mm signs are too heavy – they cost more to ship and are harder to install.
Corrugated plastic sheet 3mm is the most suitable thickness. It stands up straight in the wind, it is light enough to ship in bulk, and it is cheap enough to use as a temporary sign. It is the result of years of trial and error by the industry. We have a large number of cases related to correx sheets 3mm, which can provide you with guidance and suggestions to save you trial and error costs.
Choose The Perfect Corrugated Plastic Sheet 3mm
Corrugated plastic sheet 3mm have many kinds of applications for you to choose. Here are some of the common types we have.

3mm is the standard thickness for the corrugated plastic real estate signage industry. It will not be bent by wind when you insert a metal frame.
Used for layer pads between heavy goods. 3mm can withstand the pressure of stacking up and down, without collapsing like 2mm, cheaper than 4mm.
Used for your ground protection, equipment coverage, and furniture protection on construction sites. 3mm is more durable than 2mm, and it can be reused 3-5 times.

It can be used for your yard signs, and campaign signs. Corflute 3mm can support the weight of the A-frame itself, and will not collapse like 2mm.
Key Features of Corrugated Plastic Sheet 3mm

It is harder than 2 mm Correx sheets and lighter than 4mm, suitable for most scenarios.

Standard UV resistance, no yellowing for 12 months outdoors.

48 × 96 boards weigh about 3.5 pounds, and one person can carry 50 sheets.

High cost-effectiveness, 40% cheaper than 4mm corrugated plastic sheet.
Strict color difference control
The color consistency between batches is an uncompromising requirement for brand retail logos and real estate billboards. Our online detection system controls Δ E within 0.8; this means that there is no color difference between batches.
The color formula database not only stores the final formula, but also records the raw material number and extrusion temperature curve of the batch. When you continue to place orders, they can reproduce colors within the same Δ E tolerance without the need for re-debugging. After 13 years of accumulation, this database has covered over 400 color formulas.

Surface treatment and Good ink adhesion
The surface energy of polypropylene (PP) is naturally low – typically between 29-31 dyne/cm – which means that most inks and adhesives cannot directly adhere to untreated PP surfaces. Our corona treatment increases the surface energy to 50+dyne/cm by oxidizing the surface layer and generating polar groups, so that the ink can firmly adhere.
Are you worried that the effect of corona treatment will decay over time? After processing the corrugated plastic sheet 3mm to 50 dyne/cm, it may drop to 40 dyne/cm after 2-3 weeks of open storage. Our approach is online processing+immediate lamination – the Dyne value is locked under the PE protective film until it is exposed when you tears off the film.

Our product has been exported to 120 countries and holds more than 20 certifications such as ISO9001, SGS, FDA, etc.
- Our color control system, including grouping raw materials by whiteness upon arrival at the factory, online Δ E monitoring, and a formula database, has been gradually established to serve over 10000 advertising and printing clients worldwide.
- We have a significant price advantage: our company has the advantage of scale production, low labor costs, raw material prices, providing you with lower prices.
Cases of Our Corrugated Plastic Sheet 3mm
Corrugated plastic sheet 3mm are used widely. Here are some of our cases:

The client is a printing company and requires PP corrugated sheets for campaign signage. He need 50000 pieces of corrugated plastic campaign signs, double-sided printing, with a minimum outdoor durability of 6 months.
We recommended the corrugated plastic sheet 3mm for him, which adopts double-sided corona discharge treatment, ink and UV ink can firmly adhere, and the double-sided printing effect is stable. A stiffness of 3mm is sufficient to support outdoor use and will not fade for 6 months outdoors.

Our customer needs to provide layer pads in the transportation packaging for glass bottled products to prevent the bottles from damage during transportation. They used cardboard layer pads before, with a damage rate of about 5%. They tried 2mm corrugated plastic sheets, but they were too soft and deformed when stacked up and down. We recommend the Corflute 3mm for partition board, it reduces the transportation damage rate from 5% to 0.3%. And it can be reused.

Testimonials
Yes, they are all PP corrugated sheets with different regional names. In Australia and New Zealand, it is called Corflute, and in the UK, it is called Correx.
The most commonly used tool is an art knife – a blade is used to draw a line on the surface and then break it along the crease, making it clean and neat. For mass production, CNC routers can be used, and we recommend using single-blade spiral milling cutters with a speed control of 16000-18000 RPM and a feed rate of around 30 IPM for the best cutting effect.
The color matching consists of four steps:
① You provide Pantone, RAL, or physical samples;
② We will try to find an identical ready formula from the color matching formula library – if there is an exact match, then we will immediately arrange for sampling;
③ If there is no exact match, then according to the most similar formula, we will adjust the color masterbatch proportion and make samples for you;
④ After you confirm the color, we lock down the formula in the production workshop for mass production.
