You may need different kinds of red in different senses:
Safety sign use: What you need is a signal red that complies with OSHA or ANSI standards.
For brand-specific use: You will want to look for your required brand-specific color, which may include Coke Red (Pantone 185C) or Target Red (Pantone 200C).
For promotional activity purposes: Here, you will need a vibrant red color that is capable of catching one’s attention.
There are two reasons:
The red background color absorbs more UV light, which leads to incomplete curing of the white ink layer, and residual initiators can cause the white color to turn yellow.
The white ink is sprayed too thick, the UV lamp energy is not enough, and the bottom layer of the ink layer is not completely dry, making it look yellow.
Solution:
UV lamp energy is increased by 15-20% to ensure thorough curing of white ink.
White ink is sprayed in two layers: the first layer is sprayed thin as a base (about 50% coverage), and the UV lamp flashes once; The second layer is sprayed thick (100% coverage), and then thoroughly cured.
Use high-coverage white ink to cover the red background without spraying too thick.
Other color differences: Black board is the cheapest, white board is slightly more expensive, yellow board is second, and red board is one of the most expensive common colors. Blue board is slightly cheaper than red board because the cost of red masterbatch is higher.
Answer: Red corrugated plastic boards are 8-15% more expensive than white boards and 10-20% more expensive than black boards. Enhanced (UV enhanced) is 10-15% more expensive on this basis.
The cost of red masterbatch is higher than that of black and white masterbatch,
- The color change washing machine is worn out, and it takes 2-3 hours to clean the machine from other colors to red.
- Red has high requirements for the cleanliness of the board surface, and it needs higher screen replacement.
- Red boards require high levels of UV stabilizers and have a higher proportion of additives than other colors.
- The red board is highly sensitive to color deviation and surface impurities, with a slightly lower yield rate.
So, red corrugated plastic panels are more expensive.
