What Are The 5mm Corrugated Plastic Sheet?
5mm corrugated plastic sheet is an industry-grade product that is more durable than 4mm, it can carry higher loads and has a longer service life. And it’s cheaper than 6mm, which can help you save more costs.
It’s suitable for plastic turnover box and outdoor corrugated plastic sheets when durability is required. Made from100% virgin polypropylene with UV protection and impact stabilizers, it can replace plywood, metal, and cardboard in many industries.
Choose The Perfect 5mm Corrugated Plastic Sheet
5mm corrugated plastic sheet has many kinds of applications for you to choose. Here are some of the common types we have.

It can be used for electronic component turnover to protect them from static damage; surface resistance 10 ⁶ -10 ⁹ Ω.

It can be used for floor protection sheets during decoration to keep your floors, carpets, and surfaces from dirt and damage.

It can be used for fruits, vegetables, seafood, and frozen meat storage and transportation, with FDA/SGS certifications.

It can be used for outdoor advertising board, plastic tree guards, can resist UV, prevent fading, and decay.
Key Features of 5mm Corrugated Plastic Sheet

It’s 75% lighter than plywood, can help you save transportation costs.

It can be reused more than 10 times, with low cost per use.

It will not crack under low temperature conditions and is suitable for cold storage.

The cooling and shaping section has been specially designed for super flatness.
Professional designers customize products according to your needs
You provide the product’s external dimensions (length x width x height), individual weight, number of pieces per box, transportation method (sea/land/air), and warehouse stacking layers. Our engineering design team inputs these parameters into the system, matches them with over 1200 historical plans, finds the closest case, and makes adjustments based on the geometric dimensions of the new product.
If you already have a ready-made design, you can send PDF or DWG drawings to us, marking the lines and hole positions. We will process according to the drawings and provide physical samples for confirmation before mass production.

Modern bonding technology and connection methods for you to choose
We adopt advanced ultrasonic welding technology, automatic nail box linkage production lines, and independently develop automatic heat sealing bonding technology for corrugated plastic box.
We have three connection methods: ultrasonic welding, hot melt bonding, and metal nail bonding. You can choose according to your requirements.
- Ultrasonic welding is currently the most reliable connection method in the enclosure box industry and the standard process for Purepack 5mm corrugated plastic boxes.
- Hot melt bonding is suitable for large-area splicing. It has various applications and is suitable for small-batch and multi-variety orders.
- And we can also offer metal nail bonding for you to choose.
Why You Choose Purepack?

Purepack is a factory with 16 extrusion lines. Among the 16 extrusion lines, 5mm corrugated plastic sheet is a specification that operates year-round. With the internal ultrasonic welding workshop, hot melt bonding wires, and 13 die-cutting machines, the entire process from raw materials to finished product boxes can be completed in one factory area. For industrial packaging projects that require repeated design adjustments, all modifications can be completed internally, and the modified plan can be tested on the machine on the same day without waiting for the outsourcing factory to schedule.
Three design engineers work in the factory and work together with production line workers in the same factory area. When there are questions about the design drawings, they can directly go to the workshop and have face-to-face communication with the processing master, saving you time in design communication.
Cases of Our 5mm Corrugated Plastic Sheet
5mm corrugated plastic sheet are used widely. Here are some of our cases:

Our customer used 4mm corrugated board for packaging boxes before, and after stacking three layers, the box began to deform, resulting a damage rate of about 3%. We suggest replacing it with 5mm corrugated plastic sheet, as the stiffness of 5mm corrugated plastic sheet is 1.5 times that of 4mm, and the static load capacity is increased by about 50%. We design a foldable structure for them that can be folded flat for storage when returning empty boxes, saving return shipping costs.

The client is an outdoor advertising company that installs large promotional display boards for a chain brand along the highway. The size is 8 x 4 feet (2440*1220mm) and needs to be installed on a metal frame for outdoor display throughout the year, with the screen changing every quarter. We recommended the 5mm corrugated plastic sheet to them, and the customer changed to the 5mm corrugated plastic sheet at 30 locations in three cities. They have been using it for 2 years without any complaints of the board surface bending or tearing.

Testimonials
5mm are 25% thicker than 4mm corrugated plastic sheet, making them 50% stiffer and able to bear greater loads. 5mm sheets are suitable for heavy-duty use while 4mm sheets are not. The price difference is around 15-20%, but there is a big difference in performance.
Yes, but it will be much harder than with thinner sheets. First, you need to score the material thoroughly using a sharp knife, and then break the sheet along the scored line. For bulk orders and complicated profiles, we advise CNC cutting.
5mm corrugated plastic sheets can be reused 10-20 times in normal packaging applications, and they can also be reused up to 30 times if you pay attention to maintaining them when you use them. If you use in different usage environments can also affect the use life.
