What Are The Corrugated Plastic Trash Cans?
Corrugated plastic trash cans are also called correx recycling bins, corflute waste bins, and fluted plastic dustbins. They are recycling bins made from twin-wall polypropylene sheet — which can be folded, interlocked, or welded into a box shape, usually with 3–5 mm walls and a capacity between 20 and 240 litres.
Corrugated plastic trash cans are the light-duty and medium-duty option: it weighs about 1/3 as much as normal bins, can be folded flat, and can be printed with graphics on every face, and are the right choice for separated office, canteen, event, and workshop light waste.

Choose The Perfect Corrugated Plastic Trash Cans
We make many kinds of corrugated plastic recycle bins for customers. Here are the four types most of our clients order:
Flat-packed bins for under-desk and tea-point separation, typically 25L. Supplied with printed labels and liners so staff can separate paper, dry mixed recycling and general waste without walking to a central hub.
Two to four compartments on one frame or back panel, colour-coded to your local code — blue for recyclables, red for hazardous, green for food waste, black for residual. Lids, push flaps and printed headers are available.
They are larger bins with a pull handle and a hinged lid, made from UV-stabilized corrugated plastic sheet for yards, warehouses, construction sites and events. Light enough for one person to move when empty.
Sealed cut edges, a liner bag ring, and an optional drip tray for canteens and kitchens. The anti-static grade for electronics plants and flame-retardant grade can be customized.

Purepack runs 16 production lines — PP formulation, hollow board extrusion, die-cutting, folding and welding — so bin quality never depends on an outside sheet supplier.
For corrugated plastic trash cans specifically, our inspection focuses on the points that decide whether a bin survives daily use:
- Sheet thickness and density, so a full bin does not bulge or sag;
- Crease and tab accuracy, so the flat-packed panels stay tight after being reassembled;
- Weld strength on seams and sealed edges, so wet waste cannot wick into the flutes;
- And print adhesion on the corona-treated faces, so the waste-stream graphics survive repeated wiping and washing.

The customer is an event contractor that sets up temporary waste stations for festivals and sports events. They used to rent steel bins for each event, which cost more in transport than the bins were worth. They switched to our corrugated plastic recycling bins with lids and liner bags. The bins travel flat in a van, are assembled on site, stand up to rain for the whole event, and are washed and reused event after event instead of being thrown away.
The customer is a facilities management company that runs 12 office buildings in the UK. When the Simpler Recycling rules came into force on 31 March 2025, every one of those buildings had to separate dry recyclables, food waste and residual waste before collection. A 4–5 mm bin of 60–120L handles everyday office, packaging, and beverage waste up to roughly 15–20 kg. For dense or wet waste — rubble, glass, metal scrap, wet food — we recommend a reinforced base.
Wipe or wash with warm water and a normal, mild detergent, or with the same general-purpose cleaner you use on floors and tables. The corrugated plastic trash can is waterproof, so it can be hosed out and left to drain. Do not scrub printed graphics with abrasive pads if you want them to stay longer.
Yes. The surface is smooth and flat, so normal labels, barcode stickers, and tape hold well. If you want the wording to stay on permanently, printing it at the factory is better than a sticker.
