First of all, let’s talk about food grade. There are many manufacturers on the market that make food-grade PP corrugated boxes, but not many can provide complete third-party testing reports. We know that if your corrugated box comes into direct contact with fruit and vegetable oils or frozen meat, then it must use the FDA and EU standard virgin polypropylene. Because they will be exposed to acidic or oily substances for a long time, it is particularly important to ensure that the chemical stability of the material meets the standard and choose suppliers who have third-party quality certifications.
Secondly, let’s look at the thickness of the corrugated plastic boxes. Usually, thickness is not just a matter of firmness. Generally, we recommend that customers calculate in reverse. If the single-box load capacity does not exceed 15kg and the stacking layer is within 4 layers, 3mm thick PP hollow boards are sufficient. If you excessively pursue thickness, it will only increase unnecessary transportation volume and weight, and you also need to pay attention to what kind of items are inside your box, whether you need to thicken the bottom plate or add reinforcement ribs, which is the bottom line of cargo safety and personnel safety.
Thirdly, let’s look at the folding design. If your plastic corrugated box requires frequent empty container return trips, then a folding design is not an optional feature, but a core means of reducing costs and increasing efficiency. Folding PP corrugated boxes will minimize the cost of occupying space during the process of returning empty containers, reducing your logistics costs.
Another thing is the functional coating. Our principle is to select only the right configuration, not stacking parameters. This is our principle, which is that if you have special requirements, such as boxes for PCBA turnover, you cannot just check whether there are anti-static labels, but need to confirm whether the surface resistance can be stably controlled in the range of 10 ^ 6 to 10 ^ 9 ohms. If it is a bare chip or microelectronic component, it requires low impedance conductive level treatment, so do not stack parameters.
