Corrugated Plastic Quality Inspection

There are over ten process of quality inspection that Purepack uses in the manufacturing of PP corrugated sheets.

Quality Inspection Of Corrugated Plastic

We have over ten quality inspection processes and professional quality inspectors to ensure that each batch of goods is problem-free before being shipped, allowing you to receive and use them with confidence.

01

Raw Material Inspection

  • Inspection of raw material batches regarding their source, batch number, and date of production.
  • Melt Flow Rate (MFR) Testing: Inspection of the material’s melt flow to meet the standard.
  • Color masterbatch inspection with ΔE ≤ 1.5.
  • Inspection of moisture content/;Determining the moisture content of batches and ensuring that it does not exceed 0.05%.

In-process Inspection

Extrusion process

  • Online thickness measurement: Make sure the thickness tolerance being ±0.05 mm.
  • Width detection online: Maintaining the width tolerance of ±0.5 mm.
  • Visual surface inspection online: Monitor black spots, bubbles, and water ripples on the surface of the board.

Corona treatment process

  • Dyne value detection in line: Make sure the value of Dyne is ≥ 50 Dyne.
  • Corona treatment uniformity test: To avoid dead corners.

Cutting process

  • Size tolerance check: The size tolerance is maintained at ±1 mm.
  • Smoothness of edge detection: Without burrs and warping.
03

Final Inspection

Physical performance test

  • Tensile strength test: To ensure the tensile strength achieves 25-30 MPa.
  • Bending strength test: The bending strength needs to reach 30-35 MPa.
  • Impact resistance test: To prove its resistance to the shock force.

Color Detection

Color difference meter test: To ensure that ΔE ≤ 2.

Printing adaptability test

  • Dyne value test: The Dyne value should be confirmed that it is ≥ 50.
  • 3M tape adhesion test: To confirm that ink detachment is ≤ 5%.
  • Anti-friction test: To prove that the printed pattern will not wear out.

Dimensional inspection

  • Length and width: To control the length and width tolerance at ± 1mm.
  • Diagonal detection: To confirm the deviation is no more than 2mm.
  • Thickness test: To confirm that it is within the range of 0.05mm.
