What Are The 6mm Corrugated Plastic Sheet?
The 6mm corrugated plastic sheet is the structural-grade thickness in our product line. It is the first thickness that can truly bear weight – 500+ kg/m² static load, enough for heavy duty layer pads, large corrugated plastic signs, and structural packaging.
It is 75% lighter than plywood, waterproof, and reusable. Made from 100% virgin polypropylene with UV stabilizers and high-impact modifiers, more functions like anti-static, conductive, flame-retardant, food grade functions can be customize as your requirements.

As for the weight accuracy control, we use a screw design and adjustable flow blocking block technology.
The screw design can guarantee the uniformity of the PP resin during the extrusion process. The adjustable flow blocking block technology enables the operators to control the thickness distribution of the board at different locations.
With the special temperature control system (zone temperature control, independent adjustment for each zone), the thickness deviation of the 6mm corrugated plastic sheet in is controlled within ± 0.2mm. It means that every 6mm corrugated plastic sheet you receive has the same load-bearing capability.

The customer is a mechanical export company that used 12mm plywood to make wooden boxes. High weight with high shipping costs. We recommend 6mm corrugated plastic sheets; the bottom panel is designed with a double-layer structure, and the side panels are designed with a single layer of 6mm. The box weight has been reduced from 200kg to 50kg, resulting in a 25% decrease in shipping costs. From June 2024 to now, they has exported 17 sets of equipment to Germany and Turkey with zero damage.
The customer installed large stamping equipment in the new workshop. During the installation of the equipment, the workshop floor needs to be protected. They used 3mm steel plates, which were too heavy and required specialized movers for installation and removal, resulting in high labor costs. The edges of the steel plates were sharp and easy to cut workers. We recommend 6mm corrugated plastic sheets. The static load capacity of 6mm corrugated plastic board is above 500kg/m ², and the size is cut into 1.2m × 2.4m. Yes. The 6mm corrugated plastic sheet is corona-treated on both sides as standard. Screen printing, UV printing, and adhesive vinyl all work well. For large outdoor signs, we recommend UV printing for best durability.
The 6mm thickness creates stress during cooling, and many suppliers ship sheets that are cupped or warped. We use a 72-hour stress relief process before cutting. The 6mm corrugated plastic sheets we produce are flat – you can test by yourself, lay them on the floor, and the corners will not lift.
