What Are The ESD PP Corrugated Boxes?
Our ESD PP corrugated boxes are also called ESD corrugated plastic box, are made from 100% polypropylene with a permanent anti-static additive, not a topical coating (also called ESD corrugated plastic sheet). The surface resistance is controlled at 10⁶–10⁹ Ω, and each batch comes with a test report.
The thickness range from 2-12mm with standard sizes or custom dimensions, optional corrugated plastic dividers, and custom colors. The ESD corrugated boxes are lightweight, waterproof, and can be folded flat for return shipping. They are widely used in PCB and electronic component storage transportation. The most universal ESD box, used for handling and storage of electronic components, PCB boards, and precision parts. The common sizes are 18 × 12 × 6 inches, 24 × 16 × 8 inches, 3mm thickness, and surface resistance of 10 ⁶ -10 ⁹ Ω.
The plastic ESD boxes are equipped with fixed PP partitions, used to separate different types of components to prevent collision and confusion. The partition also uses ESD material, with consistent anti-static performance.
The top and bottom of the ESD PP corrugated boxes are designed with stacking locks, which will not slip when stacked. When stacked in 4 layers, the bottom box does not deform. Suitable for automated warehouses and AGV handling.
When you require special sizes of ESD PP corrugated box (such as ultra-long, ultra-wide, ultra-thin), we offer CNC cutting and die-cutting customization with a tolerance of ±0.5 mm. Clips, handles, label slots, through holes, etc. can be customized.

ESD Specific Quality Control to Ensure the Anti-static Effect

- During the extrusion process, monitor the resistance value of the board online and adjust the formula immediately if any deviation is found.

Different surface resistances: anti-static 10 ^ 6-10 ^ 9 Ω, slow discharge of charges, suitable for most electronic components; conductive 10^3- 10^6 Ω, faster discharge, suitable for ultra-high-sensitivity components. Your selection depends on component sensitivity: anti-static is used for ordinary IC/PCBA, conductive is used for high-sensitivity devices, and the effect is more complete when combined with the workshop grounding system.
Look at the actual test data. For each batch of ESD plastic boxes, you need surface resistance. During acceptance, you need to ask your supplier to provide the measured resistance range of this batch and conduct on-site sampling and verification using a surface resistance tester.
Both types can be produced; it depends on your usage:
- The fixed divider: The partition is integrated with the box and cannot be disassembled. The advantage is that the structure is sturdy and will not loosen after long-term use. The disadvantage is that when changing the model, the entire ESD PP corrugated box needs to be replaced.
- The detachable divider: It is fixed to the box and can be removed or replaced at any time. The advantage is flexibility; the disadvantage is that after frequent disassembly, the buckle may wear out. It is recommended to replace the partition once a year.
